Beginning with August billing, you will notice increases to all services. 

The Maggie Valley Sanitary District establishes water rates and provides water services to its customers. the Town of Maggie Valley establishes sewer and garbage rates and is responsible for providing those services. 

As a convenience to customers, Maggie Valley water, sewer, and garbage charges may appear on the same bill; however, the services are provided and administered by separate entities.

If you have questions regarding sewer or garbage rates, rate increases, or services, please contact the Town of Maggie Valley at 3987 Soco Road, Maggie Valley, NC, or by calling (828) 926-0866.

If you are elderly or low income, known nonprofits that assist directly or connect residents with assistance for Haywood County residents with water and utility bills are:

Haywood Christian Ministry

Mountain Projects

Salvation Army

United Way

Haywood County Health and Human Services Agency
